Did you know that the F-150 is bringing an electric truck to showrooms in the future? It's the Ford F-150 Lightning, and we want to tell you more about it!

The F-150 Lightning uses a big 1,800 pound battery built into the floor of the truck to power it for 230 to 300 miles on a single charge, depending on configuration. You not only get truck bed space, but a trunk in the hood area since the engine isn't needed there. It's highly capable of towing and hauling, and there's lots of ways to connect with 120- and 240-volt outlets around the truck to power tools on the job or for fun activities like camping or a day on the lake. It also has a large 15.5-inch touch display with smartphone integration, plus Ford Co-Pilot360™ for safety. This vehicle doesn't yet have an arrival date, but Ford is committed to bringing it to dealerships like ours so we will be sure to update you.
