Ford continues to look toward a future where we have more EVs. We have seen it with recent model releases coming soon, and now, it's committing to a large facility where it can make batteries and electric vehicles.
In Tennessee, Ford will create a campus where it looks to begin work on producing batteries for electric vehicles it currently has, and a place to build electric vehicles that are newly introduced. Already there's the F-150 Lightning, which is an electric truck, plus the Ford Mustang Mach-E crossover, as well as the Ford E-Transit work and utility van. We suspect more options are coming soon, as this plan is a strong signifier of things to come. We're looking forward to it as already there are exciting electric vehicle options available from Ford.
