Recently, Ford filed a patent which calls for a magnetic truck bed. It could magnetize the whole bed and turn on and off the magnets as you need via the infotainment system or a smartphone app. This could be a game changer as it will help keep things in place while driving, allow you to use the truck for more versatility. Of course, this is all in the very early stages. But, for trucks like the F-150, Ranger, Maverick, and Super Duty this will be another cool feature on trucks that are full of them for work and play.
