Ford technology is always evolving and future vehicles continue to add to it. One technology Ford is testing and set to debut at the Intelligent Transportation Society of America's World Congress is an alert that is designed to let drivers know of nearby bikers and pedestrians.

Set to use Bluetooth's Low Energy to send location data of pedestrians and cyclists it is passed along to the vehicle with the latest infotainment system which will calculate potential crash risks and provide onscreen alerts. While you can find much of that on Ford Co-Pilot360™ this differs as it expands the capability so you can drive confidently. You get a vehicle that is going to alert you when you're coming into higher trafficked areas with pedestrians and bicyclists so you're more aware of how far one is from you, so you can react better, and quicker.
